Tutors
At Writers Inked, the students rotate around the three classes and visit the three tutors each week. Our Creative Team comprises actors, storytellers, teachers and writers, all of whom work professionally in this role amongst their many commitments. Our Tutors are Jon Davis, Kelly Davis, Moira Clark and Jane Smith and we encourage each tutor to;
- create a positive learning environment
- ensure it is a place where our students feel confident
- give praise to the students to celebrate their successes
- allow the students to undertake new challenges with the assurance they will be support and encouraged
- ensure each class follows a progression of skills which the students acquire each week
- enable each student to confidently showcase their work at the exhibition each term
All of the tutors in the Creative Team are CRB checked prior to acceptance of their suitability to work with the students.
We have carefully selected each tutor based on their professional experience and their ability to work with students aged five to sixteen years of age. We confidently encourage prospective students to come to Writers Inked and have a tour of the classes and see each tutor in action, furthermore, the school promotes success therefore ensuring an outstanding ethos.
